Whether you have been referred to us by another provider or booked your own appointment, there are things we will need in order to make your first appointment as smooth and efficient as possible.

  1. Complete our digital intake and consent forms at least 48 hours prior to your visit. These include important information about your eye health, medical history, and current concerns. You can access the forms directly through the link provided in your appointment confirmation email or through our patient portal.

  2. Have your eye care provider fax over your most recent eye exam records to our office. Our fax number is 828-470-7575. This allows us to review your eye health history thoroughly and ensures we have all the necessary information to provide you with the best care possible.

If you have any questions please call us at 828-2DRYEYE (237-9393) or complete the online form on our Contact page.

We look forward to seeing you!

FAQs

  • Absolutely! We view ocular hygiene in the same way as dental hygiene. Even with daily brushing and flossing of your teeth, a deep cleaning is still needed at regular intervals to prevent dental issues. This also applies to the eyes, as everyone can benefit from a daily at-home eyelid cleansing and skincare regimen. Just as with your teeth, a deep cleansing of your eyelids is still needed to prevent ocular surface issues.

Also, routine treatments can help prevent or improve the aging process of your skin, particularly around the eyes. Whether you want to improve redness, dull skin, uneven or hyperpigmented skin tone, large pores, fine lines/wrinkles, and so on, establishing a skincare regimen that is harmonious with your eye health is key.
